In addition, Nintendo introduced new red cases for some the best selling DS Mario games to "make it easy for [customers] to find their favorite Mario titles." I've always just scanned the box art for an overweight mustachioed plumber – but that's just me. And considering 262 million Mario games have been sold worldwide, I'm guessing it's not a problem for you either.
If you're a diehard collector that can't imagine living without the newly hued cases, you'll have to pick up: New Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart DS, Super Mario 64 DS, Mario Party DS, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem! Unfortunately, it appears those will not be treated like Player's Choice titles and will stay at their normal prices. I'm thinking a few coats with a paint marker would be substantially more cost effective. The cases will make their appearance on store shelves sometime in June.
